We’ve Got a New Newsletter Format - Over the next few months we will
send this bulk mail and to those on our “You’ve Got Mail” via email. In the
gallery is a colored copy of our newsletter and also a form for you to fill
in on how you would like to receive the newsletter.
“Member Spotlight Board in Gallery” - Please take a minute to look at
the new faces on the ”Membership Spotlight Board” in the gallery.
Adult Fellowship Fall Trip – We are going to Rome, New York on October 15th
thru the 17th. It is a beautiful time of the year there. Additional details are in the
gallery. Come out and join us!! Deposits are due by August 1st.
The Advance for July is Heifer International – Heifer’s mission is to work with communities to end hunger and poverty and care for the earth. They refer to animals as “living loans” because in exchange for their livestock and training, families agree to give one of its animals’ offspring to another family in need… passing on the gift!
Homeless Shelter - We go the second Saturday of every month to prepare and serve breakfast. We leave at 6:30 a.m. and return by 9:15 a.m. Our next date is
Saturday, August 14th.
Lemonade on the Lawn - Our August listing is now in the gallery, please take a
Sunday.
Ready to set sail?
Final plans are in the making for our VBS High Seas Expedition this summer! (August 2 to August 5th). Volunteers are still needed.
