Fall Rummage Sale: Please sign up to help with the rummage sale that will be held on Sept. 24th & 25th. Sign up sheets are in the gallery.

Children’s Choirs will begin in September!! Yes, it is time to get serious about having the kids sing in church!!  I would like to propose the following:

.                     There will be three children’s choirs:

Cherubs - Preschool and Kindergarten.

Angels - First, Second, and Third Graders

Saints - Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth Graders

Each choir will rehearse for four weeks and then sing a piece for the 10:00 a.m. Service. Preferably the third Sunday of the month as the Senior Choir generally sings for the 8:30 service on the third Sunday of the month.  This will give all the youth choirs a chance to sing in church while giving the parents a break!  The commitment will be only four weeks long.

Beginning on Sunday, September 19, the Cherub Choir will rehearse until Oct. 17.

They will sing in church on Sunday, October 17.

Beginning on Sunday, October 17, the Angels Choir will rehearse until Nov. 21.

**No REHEARSAL ON OCTOBER 31...Wilann will be away that week-end.** They will sing in church on Sunday, November 21.

Beginning on Sunday, November 21, the Saints Choir will rehearse until Dec. 19.

They will sing in church on Sunday, December 19.

We’ve Got a New Newsletter Format -  Over the next few months we will

send this bulk mail and to those on our “You’ve Got Mail” via email.  In the

gallery is a colored copy of our newsletter and also a form for you to fill

in on how you would like to receive the newsletter.

The Advance for September is Shaloca Ministries.  Shaloca Ministries has set up a mission program in Liberia where they are setting up the Shalcoa Christian Academy that will house and educate approximately 100 students. The ministry also has plans to dig a well for the 5,000 residents of the local community so they won’t  have to walk several miles for fresh water.

Homeless Shelter  - We go the second Saturday of every month to prepare and serve breakfast.  We leave at 6:30 a.m. and return by 9:15 a.m.  Our next date is

Saturday, October 9th.
