Aid for friends meets the third Wednesday of the month in the church kitchen at 9:00. This group has been preparing meals monthly growing from packing 55 meals and 16 soup dishes in Oct of 1995 to packing 603 meals in March of 2011. Food used in this project come from donations, leftovers from our covered dishes, UMW donations and members donations. The food is cooked, cooled, put in containers, labeled and frozen until delivery to the Aid for Friends Center in Philadelphia. Please join us any month you can. You will come away with a feeling of accomplishment that comes with joining together in a Christian Effort.
